KIPG 2025: Haryana retain team championship, T.N. runners-up, U.P. third

New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) After eight days of intense sporting action, the second edition of the Khelo India Para Games (KIPG) 2025 came to a close on Thursday with Haryana once again finishing on top of the team standings with 34 gold medals. Tamil Nadu (28 gold) and Uttar Pradesh (23 gold) finished second and third, respectively in the overall standings.

Greater Noida, March 27 (IANS) Railways stamped their authority on the 8th Elite Women’s National Boxing Championship, emphatically defending their title with nine medals in total, as all five of their finalists clinched gold at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex on Thursday. Haryana finished second with six medals, including two gold and a string of silver medals, while All India Police (AIP) came in third with seven medals, including one gold.

New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) The Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse hailed the successful organization of the Khelo India Para Games (KIPG) 2025 which came to an end here on Thursday. Close to 1300 athletes took part in six para disciplines at three venues in Delhi. Haryana won the team championship ahead of Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
