Long-pending Kishau Dam Project deal inked; Centre, six states sign MoU

New Delhi, Sep 15 (IANS) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the long-pending Kishau Project was signed on Tuesday between the Centre and six states -- Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, bringing an end to a prolonged dispute over the sharing of the project's financial burden and distribution of its benefits.
