PM Modi announces opening of 9 British university campuses in India

Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS) In a historic move to strengthen educational ties between the UK and India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced the opening of nine British university campuses, including the universities of Southampton, Surrey and Lancaster, in India.

However, if you go outside of metro cities, Tier-II, Tier-III cities, and rural India, there is an undying passion for becoming involved in the process, and people are vying to contest elections, and maybe the reasons aren't just about governance and leadership. Young people, particularly in semi-urban and rural areas, are far more inclined to enter public life,” said Sachin Pilot, member of the Rajasthan Assembly, at the Jindal Leadership Series Lecture on the theme ‘Gen Z, Politics Click, Share & Lead’.

MA Yoga course to commence at BHU’s Department of Vedic Philosophy

Varanasi, Oct 4 (IANS) Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is set to introduce a two-year postgraduate course in Yoga (M.A. Yoga) under the Department of Vedic Philosophy, within the Faculty of Sanskrit Vidya Dharma Vigyan. The course will span four semesters and aims to provide an in-depth study and teaching of the theoretical, practical, and experimental aspects of the Indian Patanjali Yoga system.
