New York, June 11 (IANS) A Pakistani citizen residing in Canada has been extradited to the US to face terrorism-related charges, including attempting to provide material support to ISIS and plotting a mass shooting at a Jewish center in Brooklyn, federal authorities announced.

New Delhi, June 11 (IANS) The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for several districts across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Assam for the next 2–3 hours indicating the likelihood of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching speeds of up to 60 kmph.

दिल्ली : दिल्ली की रेखा गुप्ता सरकार ने जनता के हित में बड़ा फैसला लिया है। सीएम रेखा गुप्ता के नेतृत्व में हुई 8वीं कैबिनेट की बैठक में ‘दिल्ली स्कूल एजुकेशन ट्रांसपेरेंसी इन फिक्सेशन एंड रेगुलेशन ऑफ फीस 2025’ बिल को मंजूरी दे दी गई है। प्राइवेट स्कूलों द्वारा मनमाने ढंग से फीस बढ़ोतरी से परेशान पेरेंट्स को इस बिल से बड़ी राहत मिलेगी। फिलहाल इस बिल को अध्यादेश के तौर पर मंजूरी दी गई है। दिल्ली कैबिनेट की मुहर लगने के बाद इस बिल को एलजी और फिर राष्ट्रपति के पास भेजा जाएगा, जिनकी मंजूरी मिलने के बाद यह कानून बन जाएगा। यह कानून 1 अप्रैल 2025 से प्रभावी होगा। इस बिल में अवैध रूप से फीस बढ़ोतरी करने वाले स्कूलों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई का भी प्रावधान है।
