Nairobi, Dec 9 (IANS) The most comprehensive assessment of the global environment ever undertaken has found that investing in a stable climate, healthy nature and land, and a pollution-free planet can deliver trillions in additional global GDP, avoid millions of deaths and lift hundreds of millions of people out of poverty and hunger.

Dhaka, Dec 9 (IANS) The dengue outbreak in Bangladesh is worsening rapidly, with infections and deaths rising sharply across the country. As many as three people died of dengue in Bangladesh in 24 hours till Tuesday, raising the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 401 in 2025, local media reported.
