Pakistan: Family awaits justice, compensation two years after mob lynched Christian man over blasphemy allegations

Islamabad, May 28 (IANS) Nearly two years after a violent mob killed 73-year-old Pakistani Christian Nazir (Lazar) Masih over blasphemy allegations in Pakistan's Sargodha, his family has said that they are still waiting for justice, along with compensation for the destruction of their property which remains abandoned after they left the city in Punjab province.

Tokyo, May 28 (IANS) President of the Japan-India Friendship Promotion Group of Wakayama Prefectural Assembly called on India's Ambassador to Japan, Nagma Mallick, at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo on Thursday, holding discussions on increasing people-to-people ties between Wakayama and India through tourism and cultural exchanges.
