New Delhi, Aug 22 (IANS) The US tariff hike of 50 per cent would hit Indian corporates unevenly, with the labour-intensive textiles and gems and jewellery segment expected to see only a moderate impact while pharmaceuticals, smartphones and steel are currently relatively insulated because of exemptions, existing tariffs and strong domestic demand, according to a report on Friday.

New Delhi, Aug 22 (IANS) The Supreme Court on Firday modified its earlier directions for capture and complete relocation of stray dogs in the Delhi-NCR region. In a fresh order, the three-judge Bench of Justices Vikram Nath, Sandeep Mehta and N.V. Anjaria directed that stray dogs picked up must be released in their own territory after sterilisation and immunisation, except those infected with rabies or exhibiting aggressive behaviour.
