EAM Jaishankar, counterpart from Bahrain review progress in bilateral ties

New Delhi, Nov 3 (IANS) External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and his Bahrain counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani co-chaired the 5th India-Bahrain High Joint Commission meeting in New Delhi on Monday. The two leaders reviewed the progress in bilateral ties, focusing on trade, security, defence, health, culture, people to people ties and also discussed opportunities in space, fintech and cyber sectors.

Aluminium industry urges govt to slap 15 pc customs duty to check surge in imports

Adani’s Ambuja Cements Q2 net profit soars 364 pc, revenue rises 21 pc

Ahmedabad, Nov 3 (IANS) Ambuja Cements, part of the diversified Adani Portfolio, on Monday reported strong results for the July-September quarter of the current financial year (Q2 FY26), with consolidated net profit (PAT) soaring 364 pc year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 2,302.3 crore, compared to Rs 496.5 crore in the year-ago period (Q2 FY25).
