SC initiates suo motu case on social security of blind man living in extreme poverty

New Delhi, June 16 (IANS) The Supreme Court on Tuesday issued notice to the Odisha government, in a suo motu case concerning the welfare and social security of a visually impaired man living in extreme poverty, and directed the state authorities to ensure that all basic amenities are provided to him and his elderly mother.
