Cairo, June 4 (IANS) The high-level multi-party delegation from India led by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) Supriya Sule on Wednesday engaged in an interactive session in Egypt conveying New Delhi's resolute stance against terrorism and the Middle Eastern country's solidarity with India in countering terrorism. The delegates also highlighted the bright prospects for stronger India-Egypt ties.

Dhaka, June 4 (IANS) The Mohammad Yunus-led interim government of Bangladesh has enacted a new ordinance that alters the definition of "freedom fighter" (Bir Muktijoddha). This decision has resulted in the revocation of the status for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and more than 400 other notable individuals from the country’s 1971 Liberation War.
