New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) Ties between India and Bangladesh have strained considerably following the ouster of Sheikh Hasina. A hostile Jamaat-e-Islami-controlled Muhammad Yunus regime in Bangladesh has made matters worse for India. India, however, understands the importance of maintaining good ties with Bangladesh and has been in touch with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

New Delhi, Dec 2 (IANS) Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday criticised the Department of Telecommunications (DoT)'s decision to mandate pre-installation of the Sanchar Saathi App on all new mobile phones, calling it a violation of privacy and a step toward authoritarian governance.
