HPCL pins refinery fire to leak, ops to restart in May's second half

New Delhi, April 26 (IANS) Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd has said a leak from a pressure gauge in its crude distillation unit was the likely cause of the fire at its joint venture refinery in Rajasthan, and restoration work is expected to be completed within three to four weeks, after which operations at the refinery will restart in the second half of May.

New Delhi, April 26 (IANS) India’s fast-growing digital market, if left unregulated, can seriously damage the country’s traditional retail structure, which remains one of the largest generators of self-employment and jobs, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said on Sunday, urging the government to roll out an enforceable National E-Commerce Policy to protect crores of small traders, neighbourhood shops, and the livelihoods of crores of employees.
