India and Nordic countries discuss ways to further strengthen relations

New Delhi, March 12 (IANS) Sibi George, Secretary (West) at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and Ambassadors of Nordic countries on Monday discussed ways to strengthen ties, including by focusing on sectors like trade and investment, digital technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum, renewable energy, clean technologies, the Arctic and space.

Pakistan increases price of kerosene, light diesel oil

Islamabad, March 16 (IANS) Pakistan's federal government has raised the price of kerosene and Light Diesel Oil (LDO), local media reported on Monday. The price of kerosene oil has been raised by Pakistani Rupees (PKR) 39.20 per litre, setting the new rate at PKR 358.01 per litre, according to the Petroleum Division of Pakistan's Ministry of Energy.

Islamabad, March 16 (IANS) The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has urged the US government to redesignate Pakistan as a 'Country of Particular Concern', or CPC, for engaging in systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom, as defined by the International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA).
