Islamabad, Aug 30 (IANS) The suppression of the Aurat March and other women's rights movements in Pakistan is driven by several ill factors infesting the country's socio-political structure, and exposes public dissent, the role of patriarchy and religion in controlling women, and the ground reality of constitutional freedom in the country, according to a report.
