IPO-bound Skyways Air Services faces EOW FIR over fraud; firm says exploring legal remedies

New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) IPO-bound Skyways Air Services Ltd, a Delhi-based air freight forwarding and logistics company, is facing an FIR -- filed with the Delhi Wing of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) by UK-based PG Paper Company Limited – over an alleged "large-scale fraud" to the tune of Rs 480 crore involving nine firms/persons (including Skyways Air Services Ltd).

Guwahati, Feb 14 (IANS) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved construction of India’s first twin-tube underwater rail-cum-road tunnel beneath the Brahmaputra River at a total capital cost of Rs.18,662 crore in Assam. Reacting to the development, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday described the Union Cabinet’s decision as a “historic milestone” for the state and the entire Northeast.
