New Delhi, Nov 9 (IANS) The next-generation GST 2.0 rate cuts on several handicraft items from 12 per cent to 5 per cent have come as a major boon for the country's artisans, as demand for their products has gone up, leading to higher earnings and also enabling them to compete with factory-made goods.

'August 11 order returns': Supreme Court advocates on stray dog removal directive

Islamabad, Nov 7 (IANS) Islamabad has reported 373 cases of violence against women in the first half of 2025; however, not a single conviction has been recorded in these cases, according to the latest factsheet released by the Sustainable Social Development Organisation (SSDO) on Violence against Women (VAW) in Pakistan's capital, local media reported.
