New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) In a strong endorsement of India’s progress, Brazil’s Ambassador to India, Kenneth Felix Haczynski Da Nobrega on Saturday praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling the nation’s development over the last decade “fantastic” in both economic and social spheres. He also reflected on PM Modi's visit to Brazil during the BRICS Summit.

Dhaka, Aug 8 (IANS) Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Friday accused the radical Islamist Party Jamaat-e-Islami of attempting to erase the memories of sacrifices made during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War from the public mind through various means. Jamaat, it claimed, is also using the Proportional Representation (PR) system to delay the upcoming general elections, local media reported.
