Biden to capitalise on Xi & Putin's absence at G20 Summit to push his agenda

Washington, Sep 8 (IANS) US President Joe Biden will make the best use of the absence of Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 Summit in Delhi to push his agenda of a counter offensive to the escalating military and economic aggression of both countries, demonstrating America's firm commitment to developing countries, political observers said.

New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS) India on Friday played down the absence of Chinese president Xi Jinping from the G20 summit and apprehensions on the Ukraine conflict derailing talks, by saying that its presidency of the grouping has managed to bring all nations on board and this would be on display during the summit over the next two days.

New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS) In a guarded response to China's continuous opposition to various resolutions adopted at several G20 events, right from objecting to use of Sanskrit motto (Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam) for the multilateral event to inclusion of Ukraine conflict in various outcome documents, G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant on Friday said that the Delhi Declaration will be finalised once it is approved by all the leaders participating in the G20 summit starting on Saturday.
