No structured modules: Lone actors drive India’s terror threat

New Delhi, April 29 (IANS) The Intelligence agencies are closely monitoring the manner in which terror groups would increasingly function in future. Officials say that terror modules would no longer be structured like the earlier ones. Terrorists would no longer operate under structured modules that would involve handlers from abroad and ideological mentors, they would either act alone or in very small groups.

New Delhi, April 27 (IANS) Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Sheikh Yousuf Afridi, described as a close associate of Hafiz Saeed, was shot dead in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province by unidentified gunmen in what investigators are treating as a targeted killing, adding to a pattern of attacks on militants in the country since 2023.
