Cong proposed 4 names for India's anti-terror global outreach; Tharoor didn't figure in list

New Delhi, May 17 (IANS) Just a while after the Centre announced the names of seven Members of Parliament (MPs) who would lead Indian delegations abroad to expose Pakistan's role in the recent Pahalgam terror attack, the Congress on Saturday revealed its own list of nominated MPs that it had sent to the government for the endeavour and notably senior leader and former diplomat Shashi Tharoor's name was missing from the list.

New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) In a massive diplomatic push, the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to dispatch delegations comprising of Members of Parliament (MPs) from several political parties to key world capitals to expose Pakistan's hand in the heinous April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and build wider global support against cross-border terrorism.

Srinagar, May 16 (IANS) A joint Press briefing was held here on Friday during which the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF's senior officers said that six terrorists were eliminated by the joint forces in the Valley during the last 48 hours.
