Hyderabad, June 22 (IANS) Police in Hyderabad in coordination with other departments have initiated measures to check illegal transportation of cattle for forthcoming Bakrid festival.

Badaun, June 1 (IANS) The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has submitted before a court that the 800-year-old Jama Masjid in Badaun is protected under the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act 1991, which mandates places of worship will stay as they stood on August 15, 1947.
