New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS) As the India-European Free Trade Association (EEFTA) Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) comes into effect from October 1, the India-EFTA Desk has been inaugurated as a single-window platform to facilitate EFTA investments in renewable energy, life sciences, engineering, and digital transformation, while fostering joint ventures, SME collaborations, and technology partnerships, the government said on Tuesday.

Vadodara, Sep 30 (IANS) The Vadodara Municipal Corporation on Tuesday relaunched the PM SVANidhi Scheme 2.0 for street vendors as part of the Urban Development Year celebrations. Over 3,000 street vendors were registered during the two-day programme held at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Vadodara. The Municipal Corporation has set a target to register more than 50,000 vendors within the next six months.

New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS) National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) member Priyank Kanoongo on Tuesday stated that the Commission has received a complaint alleging that Hindu children in Madhya Pradesh's Morena-Shivpuri region are being enrolled in madrasas and taught the Quran. The NHRC has taken cognisance of the matter and issued a notice to the Madhya Pradesh government.
