Area sown under rabi crop rises to 676.84 lakh hectares

New Delhi, Feb 2 (IANS) The total area sown under rabi crops in the ongoing winter season has increased by 15.88 lakh hectares to 676.84 lakh hectares as on January 30 this year, compared with the corresponding figure of 660.96 lakh hectares in the same period last year, data released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on Monday showed.
