Mumbai, June 29 (IANS) Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently sparked pregnancy buzz post a media spotting, was recently clicked in the city, where she chose to rush into her car and avoid any kind of interaction with the paparazzi stationed.

In a video captured by IANS, Samantha was seen stepping out in a casual athleisure look with a light green zip-up jacket, fitted brown leggings, white sneakers and sunglasses, in monsoon.

The actress was seen walking away swiftly towards her luxury car while an assistant shielded her with an umbrella. Paparazzi stationed outside could be heard greeting the actress, but Samantha did not respond and quietly got into her vehicle before leaving.

The sighting comes after Samantha recently confirmed that she is all set to embrace motherhood and is expecting her first baby.

Speaking to the media during the success meet of Maa Inti Bangaaram on Wednesday, the actress said she will be taking a maternity break after wrapping up her current commitments.

“After Maa Inti Bangaaram, I will have to take a small break, given my condition. I’ll have to take maternity leave. After that I’ll be back with another film for my fans,” Samantha said at the event.

Just last week, videos and pictures of Samantha from the success celebrations of her recently released film showed her in a fitted white bodycon top paired with blue denims, sparking buz post a visible baby bump.

Reportedly, her baby is due in December this year. On the personal front, Samantha has been married to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, one half of the acclaimed director duo Raj & DK, who created the hit streaming series 'The Family Man'.

The couple married in December last year.

Samantha, for the uninitiated, had won widespread praise for portraying Raji in the show's second season.

Earlier, Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The two tied the knot in October 2017 before announcing their separation in October 2021.
