Mumbai, July 1 (IANS) Bollywood stalwart Amitabh Bachchan has joined forces with popular author Amish Tripathi and gaming veteran Nouredine Abboud for their new venture - 'Age of Bharat'
During an exclusive conversation with IANS, Tripathi revealed how Big B came on board his Tara Gaming project.
Speaking to IANS, he said, "It is an honor for us that Amitabh ji has agreed to join us. While talking about the trailer it was being discussed that the best voice to have would be Amitabh Bachchan- how do we approach him? Luckily, Amit ji reads and likes my books, he has tweeted on my books many times, we have had events together, he has launched some of my books - so I messaged him that we would like to meet you and we presented the game and the trailer to him and he loved it."
Talking about Bachchan's personal connection with the project, the writer added, "Just like my son, his son Abhishek (Abhishek Bachchan) is also a gamer- so a personal interest was also there. He really wanted to get more involved. He said, "I want to be more deeply involved in the trailer".
Tripathi disclosed that they are even planning to base a character on Big B in the game. "So, he came on board as a founder and we are even thinking of basing a character in the game on him. We are planning to base an NPC (Non-playing character) on him, which will guide the other characters," he shared.
Spilling his excitement about joining Tara Gaming Ltd. as the Co-Founder, Bachchan said, “Joining Tara Gaming is an extension of my lifelong commitment to storytelling. When I heard Amish’s and Nouredine’s vision, I was instantly drawn to the potential of creating something truly monumental”.
“India has always been a land of powerful stories, and through this game, we have an opportunity to share our epics, creativity, and imagination with the world. Gaming is where stories come alive for the next generation, and I’m excited to help shape that experience at Tara Gaming with a uniquely Indian lens," Big B added.
