New Delhi, June 19 (IANS) Iran on Friday introduced new regulations for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, requiring ships to register in advance and obtain permits and insurance before entering one of the world's most critical energy shipping routes, despite the recent reopening of the waterway under a US-Iran agreement.
