Encouraging growth: Wildlife experts praise Cheetah reintroduction program

New Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS) On the occasion of International Cheetah Day, a host of wildlife experts praised the Cheetah reintroduction program in the country, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi three years ago and praised the government’s efforts towards building a flourishing future for the endangered species and enriching the country’s wildlife.

Gaborone, Nov 13 (IANS) Beginning a new chapter in India-Botswana cooperation in wildlife conservation, Botswana on Thursday donated eight cheetahs to India under Project Cheetah. The symbolic donation event took place during the visit of President Droupadi Murmu and her Botswana counterpart Duma Gideon Boko to the Mokolodi Nature Reserve during which the two leaders witnessed release of captured cheetahs originating from the Ghanzi region into the quarantine facility by experts from India and Botswana.

'August 11 order returns': Supreme Court advocates on stray dog removal directive
