New Delhi, Dec 6 (IANS) The Supreme Court on Friday agreed to examine a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking the introduction of safeguards for the members of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, in the private sector.

Kochi, Dec 4 (IANS) The Kerala High Court has observed that provisions of the Pocso Act were being misused by some people to wreak vengeance against their rivals with ulterior motives and stressed the need for courts to "segregate the grains from the chaff" to ascertain whether the allegations make out a prima facie case.
