High voter turnout shows people want change, says Prashant Kishor; NDA credits Nitish governance

New Delhi, Nov 7 (IANS) The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections witnessed an impressive voter turnout, drawing reactions from across the political spectrum. While Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor described the high turnout as a sign of change, the ruling NDA attributed it to the people’s trust in the governance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
