CAA के तहत अब 31 दिसंबर 2024 तक भारत आए शरणार्थी कर सकेंगे आवेदन | India Refugee Policy
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने नागरिकता संशोधन अधिनियम (CAA) के तहत आवेदन की समयसीमा बढ़ाकर 31 दिसंबर 2024 कर दी है। अब पाकिस्तान, बांग्लादेश और अफगानिस्तान से आए गैर-मुस्लिम अल्पसंख्यक, जो 2014 के बाद भारत आए थे, भी आवेदन कर सकेंगे। यह आदेश इमिग्रेशन एंड फॉरेनर्स एक्ट, 2025 के तहत जारी हुआ है। इस फैसले से बड़ी संख्या में अल्पसंख्यकों को राहत मिलेगी, जो लंबे समय से अपने भविष्य को लेकर अनिश्चितता में थे। सीएए के तहत पात्र समुदायों में हिंदू, सिख, बौद्ध, जैन, पारसी और ईसाई शामिल हैं।
