Johor Bahru, Oct 22 (IANS) Unbeaten Indian junior men's hockey team registered their third consecutive win on Tuesday as they comfortably beat hosts Malaysia 4-2 at the Sultan of Johor Cup here on Tuesday. With this win, India is on top of the points table with nine points while New Zealand is placed second with 5 points and Australia are placed third with four points.

The match, held at New Delhi's Major Dhyanchand National Hockey Stadium, featured some of India’s top hockey stars and provided an electrifying conclusion to the tournament.

Railways defeated Sports Authority of India (SAI) while IOCL defeated Central Board of Direct Taxes and will meet in the final which is scheduled to take place on Monday.

Goals by Mohd Konain Dad (7'), Dilraj Singh (17', 50'), Sharda Nand Tiwari (20', 50') and Manmeet Singh (26') earned India consecutive wins while Rory Penrose's (2', 15'), Michael Royden (46', 59') put their name on the scoreboard for Great Britain.

India will face off against hosts Malaysia, Japan, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand in the competition that will begin on October 19 and end on October 26.
