Mumbai, Sep 22 (IANS) Actor Arhaan Khan shared his views on the recent controversy surrounding his 'Bigg Boss 13' co-contestants, Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurrana.

During an exclusive conversation with IANS, Arhaan was asked to comment on the claim that Asim tried to convert Himanshi during the course of their relationship.

Arhaan told IANS, "I don’t know who tried to convert whom because I haven’t spoken to Asim or Himanshi about this."

He pointed out that this is not the correct environment.

"We should not talk about such things because we don’t know what actually happened. Himanshi said something in a different context on the podcast, which she later clarified. I don’t think Asim can say such a thing."

When asked if he believes that Asim is capable of doing such a thing, Arhaan added, "I don’t think Asim can do such a thing. If you tell me that Asim slapped someone, I will believe it. If you tell me that Asim abused someone, I will believe it. But if you tell me that Asim did such a thing, it is very hard to believe because I know him, and he is not a person who has such a small mind. So, don’t spread this thing by unnecessarily adding masala to it. Whoever is doing all this, please end this issue."

Himanshi and Asim got together during their time in the 'Bigg Boss 13' house. They dated for about four years before announcing their breakup in December 2023.

During a podcast, Himanshi revealed that religious differences played a major role in their breakup. She added that Asim would talk to her about the positive aspects of his religion and even wanted her to understand and accept those beliefs, something she was not comfortable with.

Asim denied allegations that he pressured Himanshi to convert, criticizing the discussion surrounding their personal relationship.

However, later on, Himanshi clarified that she never claimed that she was forced to convert and said that her comments were misrepresented.
