Apurva Nemlekar calls 40-hour transit through six cities with husband Tanuj as ‘pure magic’

Mumbai, August 7 (IANS) Actress Apurva Nemlekar shared glimpses from her first-ever trip to the United States with husband Tanuj Govalkar.

The actress revealed that the couple travelled across six cities in 40 hours before reaching their destination.

Calling the long transit "pure magic", the actress said the journey itself became as memorable as the destination.

Sharing a photo dump from the trip on Instagram, Apoorva wrote, "40 hours. 6 cities. 1 beautiful manifestation come to life." She further added, "Our route was long: Mumbai Delhi Rome New York Los Angeles San Jose. You’d think a 40-hour transit would be absolutely exhausting, but honestly? It wasn’t hectic or tiring at all. In fact, it was the best 40 hours ever.”

Speaking about why the trip holds a special place in her heart, Apurva further wrote, "This trip is incredibly special because it’s my first ever trip to America! It has been on my bucket list forever, and I’ve been heavily manifesting this exact moment: being at my bestie’s house with my husband, Tanuj. Seeing it finally turn into reality just reinforces my absolute belief in the power of manifestation. What you truly believe in and put out into the universe always finds its way to you. "

Describing the journey with her husband, she shared, "Spending these 40 hours in the air with Tanuj was pure magic. We saw every unfiltered shade of each other hungry, sleepy, cracking the most random jokes, sharing screens to binge web series, splitting headphones, and of course, twinning in our matching night pyjamas!"

Concluding the note, the actress wrote, "This photo dump is a tribute to that reality. Some pictures are picture-perfect and up to the mark, but most of them are beautifully imperfect. You’ll see blurry shots, weird angles, messy hair, and sleepy eyes. These are our real, raw moments, and they will stay with me as a cherished memory forever. Here’s to the journey being just as beautiful as the destination."

For the uninitiated, Apurva tied the knot with Tanuj Govalkar on February 14, 2026, and announced the wedding on social media after an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends.

On the work front, Apurva is touted as one of Marathi television's most popular actresses. She became a household name with her portrayal of the seductive Shevanta in the popular show, Ratris Khel Chale.

She has also appeared in shows such as Aabhas Ha, Tu Jivala Guntavave, Tuza Maza Jamtay, Premachi Gosht, amongst many others. Apurva was also the first runner-up of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4.
