Mumbai, June 5 (IANS) Actress Raveena Tandon marked World Environment Day on June 5, with a spiritual and nature-centric celebration.
Sharing a glimpse of her morning spent amidst cows, devotees and religious rituals, the actress took to her social media account and posted pictorial from the occasion and also highlighted the importance of protecting the planet, wildlife and forests for future generations.
In the picture, Raveena can be seen participating in a traditional gathering where a spiritual leader dressed in saffron robes is feeding and blessing cows on a lush green lawn.
Sharing the post, Raveena wrote, “What better way than to spend #environmentday with the blessings of Ma Gange , Pujya Swami ji , My soul sister @sadhviji ... Har Har Mahadev Save our Planet , Save our wildlife , Save our Forests . Secure our planet Earth for future generations.”
For the uninitiated, Raveena has often used her platform to advocate for wildlife protection and ecological awareness.
On the professional front, Raveena Tandon has enjoyed a successful career spanning over three decades in the entertainment industry.
She rose to prominence in the 1990s with films such as ‘Mohra’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’, ‘Ziddi’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”.
In recent years, she received widespread acclaim for her performances in projects like ‘Aranyak’ and ‘KGF: Chapter 2’.
On the personal front, Raveena Tandon is a proud mother to daughter, Rasha Thadani who also is an actress. She recently made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Azaad’ alongside Aaman Devgan.
