Rome, Sep 28 (IANS) India on Monday highlighted its significant achievement in forest and landscape restoration and reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable forest management, climate action and resilient forest landscapes at the Twenty-eighth Session of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation) Committee on Forestry (COFO 28), being held in Rome from September 28 to October 2, said the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

The discussions were held as Secretary of Defence Production Sanjeev Kumar and Poland’s Secretary of State and Deputy Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka co-chaired the India-Poland Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting in New Delhi, the Ministry of Defence stated.
