Madrid (Spain), Jan 4 (IANS) The third round of the Copa del Rey in Spain continues with five matches on Sunday with the chance of some upsets as lower league sides play at home to top-flight rivals. Ourense from the third tier are at home to Valladolid, with the bottom side of La Liga probably more interested in ensuring top-flight survival than a cup run, which could leave it with tired legs for the battle to avoid relegation.

New Delhi, Jan 4 (IANS) Punjab FC will aim to complete a league double over Kerala Blasters FC as the Shers will welcome the Tuskers in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 fixture which will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Sunday. Punjab FC started the season with an emphatic 2-1 victory away at Kochi and will look to emulate that performance to climb up into the playoff positions in the table. Punjab currently occupy the eighth position in the table with 18 points while the Blasters are two places below with 14 points.

Wolves’ newly-appointed head coach Vitor Pereira hopes his forward will learn from his mistakes. Cunha was charged with ‘misconduct’ for acting in an ‘improper manner’ following their 1-2 defeat against Ipswich Town at the Molineux Stadium on December 14.
