Chennai, Aug 25 (IANS) Actress Aditi Balan, who is best known for her critically acclaimed performance in the superhit film 'Aruvi', has now penned a post on how the sea gave her a kind of "crazy peace".
Taking to her Instagram page to post a series of pictures of herself on the beach, next to the sea, the actress wrote, "The sea gives me a kind of crazy peace. It takes me into a world of imagination where my mind wanders everywhere to love, to loss, to the chaos in my life, to uncertainty, to family and friends, to scenes from movies, songs I’ve heard a million times, and melodies that feel brand new."
She went on to say, "Sometimes I’m there with people I love. Sometimes I’m completely alone. Sometimes I stare blankly at the horizon for what feels like hours. Sometimes I’m scanning the water hoping to catch dolphins leaping out of nowhere. Sometimes I think about all the wild, heartbreaking, beautiful things happening around the world."
Aditi went on to point out that suddenly, without warning, her thoughts shift to other things like hot bhajjis at the little beach stall or to frisbee flying across the sand.
"To learning how to surf. To diving deep into another world beneath the water. To all the happy doggos running around with sandy paws. And sometimes, to the dead fish washed quietly onto the shore. The mind travels to a hundred different places while the sea never goes anywhere," she explained and added, "Maybe that’s what feels so beautiful about it…the strangest contradiction. My thoughts are loud, restless and endless, yet the sound of the waves makes everything inside me feel calm."
It may be recalled that the actress had come in for praise for her most recently released film, 'GDN', featuring actor Madhavan in the lead. Actress Aditi played a character called Padmavathi in the film, which is a biopic of iconic Indian inventor, agriculturist and philanthropist G D Naidu. The film had hit screens worldwide on August 7 this year.
