Mumbai: In an exclusive interview, Iranian actress Mandana Karimi discussed the situation in Iran following the reported death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. She hailed the American-Israeli attack on Iran and hoped for regime change. She also spoke about her time living in Iran and the suppression she experienced there. Karimi supported Reza Pahlavi as Iran’s next leader and said she feels safe in India. She said the US and Israel, along with Middle Eastern countries, should destroy what she called the lunatic regime in Iran. In the end, she said she had an Iranian passport until four years ago but did not reveal which passport she holds now. Karimi also criticized sections of international and Indian media coverage and voiced support for Reza Pahlavi as a future leader of Iran.
