India to chair UNCTAD's Consumer Protection session in Geneva

New Delhi, July 5 (IANS) India will chair the ninth session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts (IGE) on Consumer Protection Law and Policy, organised by the United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD) at the Palais des Nations in Geneva on Monday, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

Pakistan trade deficit jumps to $39.5 billion as exports shrink

New Delhi, July 5 (IANS) Pakistan’s trade deficit jumped by 22 per cent to $39.5 billion in the financial year ended June as the economy continues to depend heavily on imports while exports have contracted amid the economic slowdown, according to figures compiled Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
