Tokyo, Feb 15 (IANS) Japan's economy surged in the fourth quarter of 2020 but it was not enough to keep the world's third largest economy away from negative growth for the year as the economy shrank 4.8 per cent due to Covid-triggered crises -- the first contraction since 2009.
